Bordallo Pinheiro's Cabbage is one of the best-loved designs in Portuguese ceramics: the humble, wrinkled cabbage leaf, placed with a wink at the centre of elegant tables where it would otherwise never have been invited.
At 40 cm, this is the statement salad bowl of the range, made for big tables and generous hosts. Fill it with a leafy salad for a crowd, a mountain of pasta or seasonal fruit, or let it stand empty as a centrepiece on a dining table or kitchen island. It is the kind of piece guests remember and ask about.
