Bordallo Pinheiro's Cabbage is one of the best-loved designs in Portuguese ceramics: the humble, wrinkled cabbage leaf, placed with a wink at the centre of elegant tables where it would otherwise never have been invited.
The 43 cm Oval Platter is the workhorse of the range and the piece hosts reach for most. It carries a roast, a whole baked fish, grilled vegetables or a spread of cheeses with ease, and looks just as good hung or propped on a shelf between dinners. Available in green or pink.
